Only the main news one. Dbd, otraynor, sab35, novocastrian, farmboy and the wonderful cruikshank live in or around Toronto. Barryfs is dying (literally) on the prairies. Khakroo campaigns against the consumption of milk from Alberta. Lucyfir/lucy** is an anti-religionist fanatic based in Scarborough. ResIpsa is a lawyer living in Burlington but working Toronto. There are other posters in Canada, eg BritInCanada(!), but I don't know them personally. Oh, sam-someone is in Montreal and is perhaps the only person in the world who gives a shit about Canadian military history.

Avoid all threads mentioning Palestine or Israel.

Current missus is a bit harsh. I can confirm however that GU is the most useless networking forum in the entire universe. Don't even think of going there unless you wish to be probed by freepers.

BTW Souv, was that your handle over there ->?

The very act of mentioning volatile topics gets me interested

Amazing, though, that the Canadian election thread is still going after seven years.

Is it really? I'll have to pop back in for that. I think the GU mods never delete a thread which has posts from hoib.

Ah, I feel years younger now. I've just bumped the Can Election thread up to the top of International.

I see dbd33 was having an issue with the long term resident Chapmc back in February. Plus ca change, plus c'est pareil.

hoib's just "deleted user" now, like ronhelf and evilinfo and all the rest. I think that thread, and a few others, got corrupted during one of the many crashes and now can't be deleted because it's a bit buggered up.

Well of course in hoib's case <deleted user> is highly appropriate: you know he died about 4 years ago?
