Default Mr. Miller please, What to Expect?

I applied for the independent class on Sept. 2000.
-AOR: Last week of Nov 2000
-Interview waiver: March 2001
-Medicals completed: first week of April 2001
-My wife gave birth to our first baby 1/31/2002.
-Sent application fees + passport documents + photos for the baby on March 2002
-Baby medicals completed: End of April 2002. Since medicals for me and my wife have expired by now, i sent to ask about if they want me to have new medical exams, they replied back asking if we travelled outside north america since we had the exams. The answer was No, we did not leave the US since then. Then they replied saying they will check within the next 4-6 weeks if they can extend our medicals.
- End of July 2002, i received a request to get recent FBI clearance for me and my wife. I sent them the updated clearance by End of Aug. 2002.

I have not received anything, please let me know what to expect, does that mean i do not need to have new medical exams?, what could be the next step.

Thanks

It looks like your medicals have been extended and now it is just a waiting
period for your turn, unless background/security check is not yet concluded.
