I applied in December 2000 and my application will be assessed under the new legislation. At the application date I had 2 years of work experience (1 year in “intended occupation in Canada�). I do not qualify under the new legislation, however I could reach the pass mark (75 points) only if they considered my work experience at the assessment date (4 years – 25 points) and if my education ( 2 Bachelor’s degrees and 1 year of post graduate studies) were assessed at master’s degree level. Do you think that such assessment scheme could be applied to my application file?

If I calculated properly from the info in your post you have scored now only 60
points, is that right?

Your case will be assessed based on the facts and information provided with the
application, so if at the time of interview you can demonstrate more work experience
then it will be up to the discretion of processing officer to accept
it. I don't know how 2 Bachelor degrees may be assessed as Master's degree, so don't
hold your breath for that one.
