Default Moving to Windsor, Ontario.

Hi
We have our visas and PR cards, just hanging in here now till we sell our HOUSE!!!!!
We are hoping to move to Windsor when the house sells and wondered if anyone had any tips about the area for houses, schools etc, the kids are 13 and 9.
We had a trip out to Windsor back in December and we liked the area Tecumseh.
Any advice would be great, Thanks.

We're moving to Windsor the week after next - though we've never been there!! We're renting a house in South Windsor initially and then will look to buy when we've sold our house here (couldn't hang on any longer as my job wanted me to start).

I presume you know about the job situation in Windsor? What line of work are you in?

Apparently so....

Wouldn't like to try and find a job there if I didn't have something lined up...

The upside of it is the house prices have been pushed right down because of it

Think carefully, you would probably better off emigrating to Leeds.

The footprint is moving east. If you wanted to get the best out of North America, you should have been here 50 years ago and out 20 years ago. I have been in Ontario since 1987, the standard of living is declining. Are you aware that unless you have a drug plan you will pay market prices for drugs? Don't get sick here. This completly negates the fact that you can buy 2 litres of CocaCola for 99 cents.
