More and more people, especially those under 50, walk around with their heads down and staring at something in their hand.
And a coffee in the other.
I don't think they even notice if they walk on some doggy-do left on the street
Perhaps these phones are so smart they alert the user to such things.

I try and watch this video at least 3 or 4 times per year to remind myself how important talking to people in person is.

I'm not yet in Vancouver (but will be emigrating there eventually), but every time I visit I look up at the mountains of the north shore and I am reminded of Psalm 121 "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help."

Now, I am not in the least bit religious, but I do find the mountains of the north shore comforting.

Sometimes small things such as looking at one's physical surrounds can provide inspiration and courage.

Have you ever visited Saskatchewan namely the bit between Regina and Winnipeg? I wonder what Psalm would spring to mind?
Although many have commented and I have been to Vancouver the scenery is beautiful but scenery doesn't pay the bills.

I've driven from Winnipeg to Kenora. Is that equivalent to Regina and Winnipeg? I don't think the Psalms have much to say about prairies (and that may expose some of their limitations...).

Don't get me wrong, I know you can't eat the view and it won't pay the bills. I was just trying to provide some cheer to the OP. To paraphrase the old Polish saying "it's better to be rich and happy than poor and sad", it's better to have a nice view than a bad one.
