Would landing at this time of year make it more difficult for us? or are we just letting the nerves get to us again?

or would you rather another 6 months in UK?

WINTER PLEASE!

I have to ask these questions because I've never been outdoors before.
What in the hell of slaggerdom has my wife got me into!
It's a not so mini snow blower a 28" / 11.5hp Ariens similar to this:

Any second now though dbd33 will post a picture of a pile of scrap metal that some bloke sold him on the basis that it was a PTO snowblower that fits his tractor. I remain to be convinced.......

I have restrained myself over the past few threads and will wait until I have a picture of a plume. There's a two stage one for sale down the street, it's even more rusty but it's huge and I'm tempted.

Don't apologise. Nice car, a re-spray will cost a bit though. A friend of mine has just bought a white 1972 convertible Triumph Stag, went out in it this last weekend. Oooh, the wind in your hair, the roar of the engine...

Must have the Mustang by May 2008, otherwise I'll run out of money (wife buying useless furniture for her house etc.).

Evil! So how much does it cost?
I'm looking at a garden sit on mower with a plough thing. Drive 1 is only 16ft by 8ft (3 of them but only one car this winter).
Your drive, well, can't even see the end. I reckon YOU need a tractor.

I know of a Stag for sale here. It looks a bit worn but then driving any convertible is better than making do with a hard top.

Look at an attachment for a quad. Something like this:

Have to have a convertible for next summer, otherwise there's no point in moving over.
I got people over here who'll get me the Stag bits, but it's the Mustang I want.

A good ATV is like, more than $5,000 used, plus blade. A new sit on mower with attachment blade is about $3,000. can't have the Mustang AND an ATV.
Unless you or someone else can convince me...

The issue with a plough is really when you get so much snow you can't move it or have no-where left to push it to. A snowblower enables you to project it further. On the smaller lots and sub-divisions it seems that you blow it into your neighbours lot and they in turn blow into into theirs. What happens to the guy at the end of the street I don't know.

IIRC I paid arouns $1900 taxes in for the Ariens. Definately worth it.

On the evidence I've got here, I'll get the sit on mower I need anyway, and add the plough for this winter. I'll work out from that if I need anything different for the next time. Thanks AX and db.
