Great news! Everyone is very friendly in Nova Scotia I am sure you will have no problem settling here.
Look on kijiji Halifax http://halifax.kijiji.ca/ for places to rent and you could place a wanted ad on there too.
Great shopping centres Bayer Lake and http://www.dartmouthcrossing.com/
Good luck with your move.

Good for you Dave and Sharron....are you going to be working in Halifax or Dartmouth? That may determine where you want to live? by the way, I am from A-U-L !

Wow - congratulations!

We moved here about 4 weeks ago and are loving it, even though the time of year may not be ideal!

Give us a bit more info, where is work and how many cars do you need, children, schools?

Hi

We are moving out there too just as soon as we sell our house. We are out on 20th March for a househunting trip.

Where will you be working?

hi Davesharronn and Corky

We are a family of 5 and living in France, we are planning to move out there near Truro, before the end of the year as soon as the house sells!!!!

I am originally from Ashton u Lyne and know Hyde and Denton well..
have family in Hyde and used to go to All Saints high school in Dukinfield.

If we can we will come out for a visit before but not sure at the mo.

Nice to see you are happy there,

I am interested to know if you have any teenagers as we have 2, and a 1 year old.

Sam
