So I have been back in the UK for 7 months, since my separation in November 2023. I lived in Canada for 12 years as a PR. I am still missing Canada and have thoughts on returning, has anyone also had any thoughts when in the same situation, and did you make the decision to move back without any regrets?

No personal experience of a Canada / UK move, but so-called ping-ponging between countries is relatively common.
I don't know the rules for converting a Canadian PR to citizenship, but would suggest you consider doing so if you can to keep your options open.

Info about getting citizenship can be found here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration...n-citizen.html
The eligibility tool is worth a look through to see if you do qualify given you're not currently in Canada.
If you do decide to move back, and are still eligible for citizenship then I'd apply as soon as you can, as it'll take a while to get citizenship, and it's handy to have if you remain in Canada.
