I thought it only fair to take a little dig at you for complaining about the happy attitude that Calgarians have toward their city and your silly comment about how the media reports Calgary's murder stats. If you find those petty issues worthy of complaint, then Calgary can't be all that bad for the majority.
Go ahead, criticize Calgary all you want. The public wants to know what's good and bad about the place. Hopefully, any comments will be a tad more substantive than your prior ones.

I have read several of your posts recently and was just wondering if you are an ex-pat? Before you ask - I am just curious.

Finally (and this is the last I am going to say on this thread), if you read the first part of my original post, you'd know that I am trying to bury my negative attitude towards this city. I have to live here for at least the immediate future, so I'm going to make the best of it.

I know I'm guilty of bringing up silly little things, and perhaps the murder example wasn't one of my best. From now on, I'll try to take a back seat, ease off the negative comments and let the positive ones flow. I'm not criticising Calgary for the fun of it, and I don't think anybody here would post a negative comment without reason.

What seems small and trivial to one can really start to grind after a while for another. If others dont like it thats there problem not yours. I may not always agree with you, but I always appreciate your honesty. Dont go changing

"Canadians are some of the most malicious and insincere cretins I've ever had the misfortune to come across, in all my extensive travels across many countries.
" Another point is people in the UK are far more hardworking and talented than any gobshite in North America.
"It's not that they can't get qualified staff its simply that in their peasant mentality they don't want them, after all someone who actually could do a good job would expose them for the waste of life they really are. That is Canada and Canadians.
"to come to this land of either ignorant, socially backward and uneducated Canadian's with paid work, or poverty stricken neds.
"Had to phone parents for money to pay for food and rent.
With these totally inappropriate comments in mind, from where most Canadians stand, you appear to be the troll here. I can understand why you are so angry in Canada, it’s very simple really. You’re a pompous ass who has been unable to hold a job - I can see why with your attitude alone. Just who would want to work with you? Then, to cap it all off, you accept no personal responsibility for your situation.
No one is forcing you to live in what you describe as the “7th level of hell. You’re always griping about Canada, but you don’t seem willing to leave it. It looks like you prefer to stay here and wallow in a pit of self-pity. Very strange behavior!
