Hello all
As the title suggests, I'm looking for any information/advice that I can get regarding Moncton, NB. I've been living in Halifax for the last year (lived here a few years ago as well) with my girlfriend of 8 years who is from St Andrews, NB. She's just accepted a job offer in Moncton but neither of us know much about the place at all. I'm here on a student visa at the moment so I'm going to be looking for part time work whilst I write my masters thesis. Anyone have any idea of:
- Job prospects
- Things to do/see for a hip 28 year-old art,photography & music fan
- Places to eat (specifically sushi!)
- If there is a local footy league?
Any other info/advice/general thoughts on Moncton will be greatly received.
Cheers

See here and here for football
For a smallish place there's quite a bit here. A few live venues and plenty of local bands. I can't speak for whether they're any good mind.
Couple of theatres. cinema (multi screen) at both ends of town. Can't thnk of any Sushi places although the hotel restaurants might do it. A google search revealed a couple of places (Pink Sushi and a Sushi Studio, but they might be the same place with a name change and might not even be open. There is a Mongolian restaurant - Red Pepper, Vietnamese, Indian and the usual zillions of Chinese.
