Can anyone explain canada`s Medicare.
Can it be compared to the NHS?Whats included and what`s not.
Does it vary from each Province(I`m heading for BC)
Some companys offer extra cover, what is this.If they do not what do you need to do if anything.
Does Canada have a state pension?
Any info would be great

Yes and no, mostly yes, but no dental, and you are on your own for prescription medication costs and some other stuff

Yes. Im sure there is a provincial website, canadas good for that kind of thing. Probably a link direct from the cic website in the large "after you arrive" information section.
Covers drugs, dental (up to a point, some things are still exempt, like orthodentics, and some are only partially covered),private or semi private rooms, ambulances, paramedical (massage, orthotics, physio, that kind of thing). But plans vary in whats covered and how much, so you need to look into this.
Thats up to you! Some people go it alone and pay for proceedures as they come up. Some pay big money for insurance, some are in the middle.

Yes, two in fact. But dont count on living off that exclusively, its a minimal provision at best. You need to have an RRSP plan to save effectively for retirement.
