You could, perhaps, make contact and ask what the costs would be to see them outside of OHIP

Edited to add, there are several in Toronto - here's some links.

Adding, any costs that you incur can be offset against taxes and you would receive some of it back.
Thank you! You're the second person to recommend this clinic.

I will contact them and see if I may get some answers.

I've never really looked into insurance brokers, I didn't realize they did health insurance as well.

Most banks do too.

This clinic is specifically for those that have no OHIP - you can get to see a doctor who could give you a referral (presuming you are going to be based in Toronto).

Thanks for this information.

After contacting numerous insurance companies, we've come to realize that there is no insurance for "pre-existing conditions" because my wife doesn't meet the requirement for "stable for the past x amount of days."

We're really at a loss at this point and other than not moving until her condition does become stable (assuming that does happen) I feel as though we're going to have a take a huge hit to our funds and most likely end up taking out a loan.

This is where a broker would be of more help - they already know the companies that may be able to offer cover for a pre exisiting condition.

I hope you find something..
