Hi,
I agree with your sentiment but it can also be extenuated to a lot of other posters on this thread. Animals are sentinel beings and as such are deserved of respect. Karma is cause and effect, otherwise useless words. Paul and Heather Mac' are superb personalities, and are icons. Success is what????
They have money and global respect. They are also in love.
Whatever they do in my opinion to bring attention to animal rights/wrongs is O.K. by me. We do not OWN animals. We are privileged to learn.

I know what you mean.

Yeah, that "linda macartney vegetarian food range" is disgusting slop. For the most part I hate vegetarian food that pretends to be meat (though I love SE Asian 'mock duck'). Vegetarian rib-eye steak; what's the point of that?

Sentinel?? as in standing guard?

If we didnt eat animals would there be a reason for pigs and sheep? a few might be kept as pets, but would there be feral ones? living a "natural" life? its all about balance and we need to live alongside animals, and not torture them as part of food prodcution, this doesn't preclude good animal husbandry to feed us.

I dont know where i stand on the seal killing -, i know we wouldnt be as interested if they werent cute.

Personally i am not sure about the integrity of heather, she has a vivid imagination, and Paul seems to like to be told what to think.

Extenuate means "to lessen the seriousness of", sentinel means "A guard". Is your post intended to make sense to voles and weasels rather than people ?

Perhaps it's me. I'm not quite awake. I got up early to deal with the companion animals.

LOL. I wonder if she thinks the right to "vole" should be "extenuated" to these "sentinel" beings? ;)

All I know for sure is that Canada has to change its immigration rules. :D

My apology. Typing too late at night and vino, not too bright!
I meant Sentient. I stand corrected. My sentiments remain. Going to hug my tree now, and check nobody's skinned my dogs whilst I was asleep. Oh, and I need to get some air around 'air head', and brush my teeth again.
Weird or what!!
Did'nt check for typo's, but feel free. It's a friendly place this!
I can't come back to the computer, as I'm off to the airport now. Well a few hours, to be exact.
Friendly reminder to all, booze and anxiety don't mix! I hate flying!
Hope you all have a nice day. Mine's not going to be so nice......

flying- birds in engines etc etc. very unenvironmentaly friendly,

and sentient? "endowed with feeling and unstructured consciousness" animals understand their place in the food chain, just as we do when faced with Mr grizzly. My cat does when she catches those birds, the dog next door does when he chases the cat, is that what you mean by sentient?

.... as long as man is part of the animal kingdom, he has every right to behave as one of them. :D

Bit like alcohol free beer and wine. Utterly pointless. How's your head?
