I'm flying with US Airways, Manchester to Philadelphia then Philly to Halifax. There's a 5 hour wait at Philadelphia airport that puts the journey at about 16 and a half hours in total, but paying into the flight lounge for about £30 makes the time go by a little faster. (Will be my second time flying) My ticket was £630 and the only quicker flight I saw was direct from London but the ticket cost was well over £1000.
