For a bit more greusome info:
http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/di...pNodeId=216889
This is becoming the norm in our tiny 270'000 population city.
Awful for anyone who isn't completely unhinged or devoid of any concept of reality.
Don't visit Nottingham. No matter how many Robin Hood Movies the USA makes. It's awful - I've lived here all my life and the good people are being swamped by this foul stench of a lawless underclass.
A real shame nothing is being done to help or stop it from escalating. Nottingham Police Force just got the worst results ever for a police force in the UK, and crime is spiralling while the local authorities try to convince everyone that it is falling by (according to a senior police officer) massaging those statistics (there's a new category called "miscellaneous crime" which is suddenly, on its inception, 50% of all recorded crime - LOL). It's a hilarious time in Nottingham at the moment, I've lived here all my life and you wouldn't believe what some areas are breeding!!!
Contempt mainly...

'couple's home from home after flooding'
'teenager held after 35 mile police chase'
' sun set to shine on show'
kids have entered paper face drawings in the local agricultural show, in the pre-school group. They haven't a cat in hells chnace of winning as basically everyone else's mums seem to do it for them, and even then their mums are more artistically gifted than me , so even if I did it they wouldn't win. Of course it could be Its the taking part though!!

Its interesting (to me anyway) that todays Headline on the NATION globe and mail website (Canadas "Daily Telegraph" perhaps?) was regarding an elderly doctor who was robbed by a pan handler in a Vancouver church. He wasnt killed or even seriously hurt. He had given the guy $5 a few days running and then yesterday the guy snatched all his cash and pushed the elderly man to the ground.
Its sad that this happened, but I find it comforting that the editor still found it sufficiently shocking in Canada to run on the front page.

Today's Windsor Star:
Minivan loaded with goodies - Chrysler officials claim their 2008 minivan “doesn’t drive like a minivan†anymore.
Murder charge - Accused triple murderer Jesse Imeson was arraigned on a charge of first-degree murder in a Windsor courtroom Thursday.
Experts boost tunnel option - One of the world's most prestigious infrastructure construction firms has been hired by city council in the high-stakes showdown to secure a tunnel truck route for Windsor.
And one for the snake phobics, Are you a reptile killer? - All that roadkill isn't just accidental -- an Ontario study has found almost three per cent of drivers, the majority of them men, swerve to intentionally steamroll snakes and turtles on the road.

And today's Time Colonist led with:
"This Uplands home is Canada's most expensive on the maket: $28.5 million: 'Trophy Portpeties' geared toward elist foreign buyers" - which is their third story in the last week about property prices... (http://www.canada.com/victoriatimesc...8-1e5e49ce904a)
And the other front page news was:
"The bride has white hair, not a white dress: couple in their 90s met, fell in love at seniors' residence" - which I'm surprised is news here in Victoria
