However "Little Mosque" has the potential to be original and entertaining but it's too early to tell. Many series take a season or two before they become popular. Tit. :) |

No! There's bugger all out there, even the liquor store is a single shelf in a gas station. However, once the internet satellite thingy is in place, we'll be able get news from the outside. We'll still know what Paris Hilton wore last night.

Re: Little Mosque on the Prarie.
Oh, and who's Paris Hilton? Since when do hotels wear clothes?

Re: Little Mosque on the Prarie.
I suspect that one's been done before

Where exactly (i.e. roughly) is it that you're moving to? I mean, the Feathers is difficult to replace, but there are a few decent pubs in Northern Ontario I hear.

northern?? how far north is he going, are we talking Timmins?
BTW, believe this or not, I hosted a bunch of European (predominantly German, Dutch and Swedish) scientists in Timmins during the 1998 World Cup. The only bar up there with a wide screen TV will never do such business again, or quite understand what happened that month. |

I don't and never have been one for sitting in front of the telly or for living in a pub. And my life is just peachy thanks. I was merely saying that TV in Canada is shit.

Blimey. I didn't think you were going that rural. When do you get the extra toes grafted on?
It's properly rural alright. The people there now even have to cook with electricity. |

You must tell us when you get there if you can get a low fat latte in the Timmies, and whether it is served by a Somali.
According to statscan there are no black or Asian people for many miles so, I suppose, that means there aren't any Tim Hortons. I expect it'll be Pete's Donuts up there. |
