Default leaving Canada

well.. I finally got my K1 Visa and am headed to sunny Arizona to be with my fiance...

its very strange to be leaving my homeland.. but I know in my heart that I am always going to be Canadian...

we do plan on coming back to Canada.. just not sure when or where.. so I will still pop by here if that's okay ?

I find this board to be generally entertaining with a more positive feel..

and I may ask if anyone knows any good fish and chip shops in Tucson ! he he.. I will miss a lot of things.. mostly my friends and family.. and a few other things too... but I will be back..

I know most of you can relate as you left your country to come to Canada..

anyway, packing the car and leaving Sunday... weeeeeeeeeee

see ya on the other side (no, no, not John Edwards...)

Good luck - good luck finding fish and chips too!

I was in Sidney just north of Victoria in BC and went to a "Genuine British Fish and Chips" place. Only trouble is that in my best Monty Python accent I started to argue - I wanted proof that the fish had come from England before I ordered! "Did it swim here?" I asked, "in which case it might be a bit scrawny by now. Or did you fly it over in boxes in which case are you sure it is fresh? Are you sure that these fishes are genuinly English or are you trying to pull my plonker?"

I nearly got chucked out - but don't try that where you are going because they might shoot you!

As I say - good luck and best wishes.

Here's wishing you a great start in Arizona
. . . . by the way, that big red thing up in the sky is the sun. You might have read about it in your science books at school.

Yes we have been there a few times. With the large Laural and hardy figure standing outside and all the tea towels and old blackpool theatre posters on the wall.

There are 2 other chippies in sidney that are a lot better imo, although they will never get it as good as in the UK.
