how to obtain CAIPS file copy
Hi all,
I was wondering if some one knows how to go about obtaining
a copy of the CAIPS. I would like to know how to do it myself
without the help of those online companies like caipsfilecheck.ca.

The Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System, has a law attached to it, that states those that can access it, to obtain them, You must be a “Permanent Resident, Canadian Citizen or other person in Canada�, and so most potential immigrants will not qualify to obtain the information directly.
Some people have said they were quoted $C500, just to receive this information. As you know, its the CAIPs number that appears on your AOR, starting with a B, when you receive it.
