Waterloo has its strengths, but Wilfred Laurier? Not so much.

Neither is a patch on McMaster (in, err, Hamilton).

I actually quite like Kitchener-Waterloo but as a place to live while working in Hamilton, it just makes no sense.

Surely its very subject dependent. Waterloo Engineering grads are among the most sought after in Canada, and Im told Wilfred Laurier has a great reputation in the arts (by my wife, who has a MA in History from Wilfr.... Oh, never mind!)
