Sorry to hear about your ban but..........
If You've done the crime you gotta do the time (minus what ever your lawyer can mitigate), speed limits are there for a reason. Either buy a radar detector or slow down.
BTW, I posted last month after a near miss with a radar trap, luckily I didn't get pulled

.On the up side, should I get the job in Toronto it prompts me to rent a room near by or maybe even talk to the company if I can rent a room in the student housing they have. Force me to use public transportation and make me learn the city all over. Save up a bit of money and eventually get my own place and ability to buy furniture. Won't need to ship anything for a while, like my cats.
So it gives me time to adjust to my surroundings teh hard way and after that things will be easy.

Just to cheer you up, this ex-traffic cop has been nabbed twice since getting to Alberta
It's the long wide straight roads and my inability to stick to the pedestrian speed limit that's the problem, oh and the fact that they can operate radar in the dark which is not allowed in Scotland due positive vehicle identification. (watch out if there are street lights though). Never mind, when in Rome, drive like a halfwit whilst balancing your Tim Hortons in one hand and cell phone in the other, so long as you don't speed you will be fine.

I'm also in to Slivovitza.
It is strange but I can handle vodka better than I can handle beer. But in Canad I'll live on Blue.
:-)
Right, off to book flights now.

Absolute and tonic is fine. But if it's vodka straight up it's Bison Grass (Zubrowka). There is also the nice Russian President.

Ah! Aquavit is available in the booze shop. What you're on about is "hem bränt" which is very close to moonshine.
It is vial, horrible and lethal and no mixer in the world can disguise a badly done moonshine.

Having drank a bit of poteen I can't say this method works too well.
