Default Job sites..

Ok, i'm still relatively new to this and floundering slightly...

Are there any overall job sites for Canada or is it a case of finding government sites/police sites to find local jobs?

Can anybody recommend a good job site - preferably one where there are a few hairdressing jobs?

ta

You can try all the usual suspects like Monster etc, but to be honest I wouldn't bother. Read the following Wiki section and you'll understand that applying for jobs via the web rarely gets results unless you're already there and have a visa. Canadians like personal contact so you ideally need to get over there, or at the very least pick up the phone. The hiring culture there is very different to here.

Good luck.

It would also be of use to inform us where you are intending to move to.

I'm sure I've seen signs on the windows of most of the hairdressers around Edmonton. I know you are not going to know this.

Also there are lots of posters all around Canada that could confirm this fact for the area that you are wanting to move to.
