Re: Its the Monsoon season!!!
Hmm - I don't know if I am being particularly stupid, but I said earlier on that I should have worn my farmer type wellies - by that I meant those green Dunlop things. Not fancy blue or red ones. Then Smokey made some comment about wellies not being wellies. And I said "if they aren't wellies - what are they?" and Smokey said "Wellington boots???"
I am lost here. Isn't that where I came in?? I somehow think Smokey and I are talking about the same thing but we both think we aren't!!!
Like my neighbour says "Perhaps I should stand up - that went right over my head!!"

I have no idea if this was helpful; I'm still sitting.
BTW Liz, if it makes you feel any better about your weather, I just turned the heat on. June! Heat on!

Mossies made an appearance yesterday as I mowed the lawn...nice bites
Liz, sorry to confuse....we were sorta talking about the same thing but I should have explained myself more clearly. One of the costs of pulling the night shifts - being sometimes completely incomprehensible...crikey two days off just means sleep, sleep, sleep...

Re: Its the Monsoon season!!!
I brought mine back from England with me one time - my Wellies that is. They came from the farm shop in Marden. So that is why I call them farmer Wellies!!
Yes, I tend to call them rubber boots when I am talking to Canadians and Wellies when I am talking to English friends!
It was lovely here today. I sat out all day on the deck.
