Hi Everybody,

I am B.Sc. Computer Engineer and Analyst Programmer.
I applied for indepenedent catagory to Singapore High Commission from Bangladesh on 19 June,2001. I got two letter. aknowledgement and my inclusion in interview list.

In www.cic.gc.ca web site I got no status but my start date of processing on 25 June,2001.

About 15 months gone but I got no letter of interview.

Can anyone help me to guess about interview date with their experience?

Does the high commision has the intention to complete it on or before March 2003 as new point system will begin just after this date ?

I heared about waiver of interview but get no reliable source.
Does any one inform me about this ?

My mailing address is showing incompletely in www.cic.gc.ca but I wrote it correctly in my application form.Is it problem?

Current service standards published by CHC Singapore are here:

As you can see there current processing time for cases requiring interview is at
least 36 months, so you won't get interview invitation letter before the end of 2003
(at least 30 months into the process).

Also as you can read CHC Singapore will not reply to any status requests made within
36 months from application date.

Once you received letter stating that interview is required then don't expect the
waiver - it just won't happen. All applicants who applied before 2002 who are
interviewed after March 2003 will have to meet new selection criteria and points
grid, although with the lower transitional pass mark of 70 points.

It is mentioned in my letter that you need 15-27 months.
Besides one of my friend who applied in February,2001
attended his interview on 4 June 2002 in singapore.

36 months may be applied for who are applying currently.

Don't you think so?????

Don't worry buddy. This is just the maximum time period before which one should not enquire about the status. I am pretty sure you will get a much earlier reply than that.
