Interview/Meds - What's the order?

If a interview was required, it would be required before the applicant was issued Section A of the medical certificate right?
Or do they sometimes require an interview after your medicals have come back (assuming meds are all ok)?

Usually, but not always - so, don't make any assumptions yet.
Interview may be required at any stage of the process, even after initial waiver.
