Is it possible to provide such a thing as a check list, for immigrating to Canada?
I know this could be extensive, but I am looking for the important points and trying not to forget the obvious.
ie. Visa/Work permits,opening, bank accounts,car insurance documents,school`s etc.

If I recall correctly, you're going over on an intra-company transfer TWP? So to cover the visa bit of your question, have a read of this..........http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Intra-...ransfer-Canada You'll also want a plan in place to apply for PR as soon as you possibly can do, as being on a TWP isn't terribly secure.

And as the very wise and really quite handsome Iaink said, there is lots of other info in the Wiki including a leaving 'to do list', and info on things like car insurance and banking etc.
