IEC - insurance
I am going to Canada in a couple of weeks to activate my IEC visa. I am only going for a week and my current travel insurance runs out in March. I'm planning on going to Canada to stay long term (1.5ish years) in around April/May next year.
If I am asked to show proof of insurance, will the border officer only give me a permit until March? Basically, I'm not sure whether I need to buy 2 years worth of insurance now!
Thanks.
