I got a job
 

Yes folks you may remember my former rants about not being able to get a job. Well happy to publish that I managed to snag one after all and in local government to boot! In fact this is my second week on the job and all is going well.

I know that I have been very, very fortunate not only to beat the other 100 candidates that applied but to be taken on on a SOWP and as a non-Canadian.

So just to let you know that it is not totally impossible to find a job but it will take a lot longer than orginally thought!

I still keep pinching myself! :D:D:D:D:D

Congrats,..... Its tough out there so always good news when someone finds a job.

I am going on 8 months now, applied at once place and they had over 500 applicants for 10 openings.
