Hi,
I am new to this site and very impressed with the amount of info on offer here. Here is my question, my wife is Canadian and we both presently live in the UK, we have decided that we want to move to Canada sooner rather than later and are interested in finding out how long it takes to process the PR application from within Canada. I have read that after 6 months you can get a work visa even if you haven't got your PR through yet. Is this true and if so will most employers be happy to take you on with that. The reason that I ask is that I would like to apply for the police and imagine them to be pretty strict.
Thanks to anyone who can help me with these questions.
Matt
