Default Hgv driver

Hi i am a hgv driver in England and I'm interested in possibly moving to Canada. I understand I would need to take a test like a beginner. Is this true ?. Is there much work at the moment for this type of job ? Thanks.

This Wiki article might help - https://britishexpats.com/wiki/Truck_Driving_in_Canada

There are loads of jobs from what I understand, so if you're already work authorised then I'm sure you'll find a job very quickly, but if you need sponsorship to get a visa, it'll be less likely.

How old are you? Whether you are over or under 30 can have a dramatic impact on how easy it is to immigrate to Canada.

ETA Never mind, I see from your previous posts you are alread well past your 30th birthday.

The current cost to get your Class 1 in Saskatchewan is $10,000-12,000 and the training is compulsory, unlike in 2013 when we came here.
