having not put in to go to canada yet i found the ammount of time to research this very time consuming indeed. but always helpful.
i have been mainly researching the NS area. most of my info has been taken from british expats.com site either from using the nz site or canadian. but a lot of info can be used or convered to both. it is not always easy to know where look. so in return for all the help i have received i am now returning this info. it may take a bit of time to read but every nugget i found helpful. i have included any links i have found and a lot of other info from other people.
if you have any other links that are not here but you have found helpful then please feel free to ad them to assist others in their seach for the holy grail.
regards smugde

Very useful info, smiges33. Kudos to you for that.
Now, I don't suppose you'd like to place that information in BE Wiki articles, where forum members would be able to look for it by topic, would you? If you are so inclined, there is even a BE Wiki article on how to create a BE Wiki article.
I speak as one who has invested dozens (if not hundreds) of hours in the BE Wiki herself, so I am not making a suggestion that I have not implemented myself.

being new to looking at all this i sort of jumped in to feet first. yes i suppose you are right in a sense. i only wish this site had an easy navigatin lot like britishexpat.com.(not as much info there thought) only there are more answers on here but harder to navigate your way around. ie. headings for where you want to look for. locations, job types, you know what i am on about. instead of trying to look through a s##t load of links and pages to find info that would realy be helpful straight off
