Default Committing myself...

For those that haven't seen me around (hi), I'm about to apply for Postgrad study in Canada. The time has come for me to book my GRE exam, and in doing so it will set into motion the sequence of events that will dictate the next 2 years of my life. As a result, I've spent the last week torn between clicking "Submit" or forgetting about the whole thing.

How do/did the rest of you decide in the end? I mean seriously, I'm so lost and confused now and it's not even like it will be a total waste of time; I'll still come out the other end with experience in another Country and a qualification.

Just wanted to get that off my chest really... I've given myself until Monday evening to make a decision, so we'll see what happens.

*gulp*

Hi Chippers, if you have already looked into getting on the course etc, it seems like fate has already led you this far, and the natural sequence of events should take you there.
Press the button, and all the very best of everything!

Excuse my ignorance but what is GRE and what significance does that have to where you will study? I assume you are entering on a SP but I beleive you can also apply for an open WP although there may be some qualifying period.

Canada is huge country which part/s are you considering to be based.

All four of my children are in Canada's education system and they love it they have little or no regrets about the move last year.

Whatever you decide it won't be the wrong decision unless you make it so.

Thanks guys... I just need that final push over the edge really!

Journeyman, the GRE is the Graduate Record Examination - basically Universities use it as a basis to evaluate how smart (or not!) I am. I'll lose a fair amount of money if I cancel, so if I book it I'll be applying whatever happens.

Scary times for sure.

Edit: I'm applying to UBC (Vancouver), UoToronto, UoAlberta and then either UoCalgary, McMaster or Simon Fraser U.
