hi all,

I am planning to take the leap and move to Canada as a PR next month and would like to know if a British LGV driving license is valid in Ontario. Any help would be gratefully received.

In a word, no.

They only recently allowed swaps of regular G licenses. I think for an AZ you need to take the test again.

Hello Smudger
The "Z" part of the licence denotes air brakes and you have to have a certificate for that, which means a test - and, I've been told by one well-known driving school, you have to provide your own truck unless you have taken a course with the driivng school! Try the following link:
