Default HELP MSP appears to have been cancelled!

We received a cheque in the post this morning with a statement saying they were refunding our MSP as the coverage was cancelled effective 1st Oct as current immigration documents haven't been received. I don't understand what this is about. Can anyone shed any light on this? We arrived on a TWP in July.
Nothing has changed since then, our service cards have been issued so i just don't get it.

Thanks for any advice!

1. dont panic.
2. call them with your care card handy also your current visa. it should just be a case of explaining to them that nothing has changed - unless you are in a union and they have taken over your payments (IUOE do this for my hubby a crane driver) we dont pay MSP they pay it for us and just take his union fees out of his wages instead) check this sint what i happening.
3. really dont panic. my little one needed hospital treatment when our status was in question as applied for new TWP but they hadnt arrived yet, they treated him, billed us and waited three months for the mess to be sorted out with the computers and our new visas.
