The answers to most questions can be found by doing a search, but do feel free to ask. We have all been there and know what its like.
Good luck with the whole experience.

Skilled tradespeople are desperately in need over there - why don't you look at getting a work permit or perhaps the provincial nominee programme? Both are significally quicker. Hubby contacted companies out there, explained the situation to them and they sponsored him on a work permit. Took 16 weeks for the approval to come through then we had to apply for the actual permit 3 weeks ago and we're just waiting for that - hopefully no more than another week - then we're going to apply for permanent residency or PNP when we're out there.
Good luck and if you're head's frying how about doing an egg and bacon on it - that way at least you'll have something nice to eat at the same time

If I can be of any help just holler

Hi Ki76,
Thanks for the advice and im going to look into that.I didn't realise that was an option. Is your hubby a tradesman and if so does he have to sit a trade test prior to beginning work?
