Id like to introduce myself to the lads and lassys on here. My name is Greg and im a new driver here in the UK. I did my class 1 six months ago with the express intention on moving to Canada. If anyone can give me any advice then please feel free to post it here.

I have had a look but im going to ask a probably oft repeated one. Does anyone know if there are Companies that hire new Drivers?

As far as I understand having seen previous posts is that Canadian hauliers are much like UK ones in that they really do look for and prefer drivers with experience.

You only passed your test 6 months ago and do you have any experience as yet?, I work in insurance and the lack of experience in my eyes would suggest your a higher risk than a driver with plenty of years behind him. I think you would struggle but other forum members with more experience in the driving sector may be able to drill down further on this subject

Yes several companies recruit oveseas for foreign drivers. Where in Canada are you thinking of moving to. Most of these jobs are done through companies who will help applicants apply for PR sponsorship within certain provinces.
