Default Health Cards,Drivers Licence exchange and other bits

I thought it may make more sense to put this all in one place - if anyone can provide any insight that would be great

When you made the move did you bring things like your tv? we have a lovely Sony smart TV - and I'm thinking can we just buy new plugs/wires for Canada we should still be able to use it?

Exchanging your drivers licence - I first learned to drive in Canada and had an Ontario drivers licence when I moved to the UK. I traded that in for my British licence. Will switching back be simple?
Also for my husband who is only a UK driver - will getting an Ontario licence be as easy as it was for me to get a British one?

OHIP - I know the process for my husband is relatively simple, however what is it for a Canadian returning home? I still have my old original health card that I had from like birth ... and I never actually cancelled my OHIP when I left 10 years ago. Can anyone speak to this process for me?

Edited to add: I also would like to officially change my name to my husbands married name when i move home (passport is up for renewal 2020) and since I will need to get new cards etc I figure this would be a good time to do it ... has anyone done this? is it complicated?

Maybe maybe not. Will only work IF your TV explicitly says it will accept 120 - 240V input (look on the back). Most do but some are 240v only. Again, see wiki here: http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Compat...f_Goods-Canada

Easy enough and same deal for both of you, see wiki here: http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Driver%27s_Licence-Canada

You have been away from Ontario for more than 6 months, so you start again. Same deal for both of you. See wiki here: http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Medica...Canada#Ontario Note that the 3 month wait also applies to you both.
