Whenever I go to Calgary I find my sinuses clear and I can breathe! It's wonderful. Always had sinal problems when in the UK and lowland Europe, but Calgary is great. My hair goes weird though, I think it's because the water is so soft - does anyone else have that problem? I've found this thread really interesting, thank you for starting it.

I know what you mean with regards to sinus problems in the Uk. My OH is always amazed at how soft her hair was while on vacation in Florida and how dry it is back in the UK even with a good conditioner. Water is the USA always cures my dry skin problem. I am hoping its the same in Canada

The dry air could make your dry skin worse, always have to moisturise tonnes more in the winter.

Just wondered if anyone else suffered from headaches since living in Calgary.

Other Calgarians complain about them due to the altitiude/pressure changes and I guess dryness of the atmosphere.

I don't normally suffer from them either.

I suffered with headaches and nose bleeds for about 7 weeks when I first moved to Saskatchewan, thankfully the nose bleeding stopped and the headaches only happen when there is a change in atmospheric pressure.
