Hmm, and the IP for the post is from China... curiouser and curiouser! It seems on some digging that there is something of a spam mine here (no-one really thinks real spam came from animals, surely)

So, to summarise, the OP is posting from China about being happily settled living and working in Canada when up until last week he was apparently living in the USA?

Does this make any sense to anyone, other than it is a complete load of hogwash for someone with nothing better to do than make up stuff on emigration forums?

Nope, as Iaink said above he's just a plain old boring spammer I'm afraid. Check out the post in which he said he was in Chicago - he's tried to sneak a link in to an image (but it hasn't worked).
