Hi am a firefighter with 18 years service with Strathclyde fire rescue in Glasgow. My partner is a flight attendant with 10 years experience and she's also a hairdresser to trade(city and guilds) but has not worked in the hairdressing industry since becoming a flight attendant.Could we still qualify to immigrate with her hairdressing qualifications.

No, afraid not as hairdressers are not on the list of 38 'occupations in demand' that will qualify her for a Skilled Worker visa without a job offer.

Sounds as though she will need either a job offer approved by HRSDC, in which case she may need to get her qualifications recognised to get a job, but not sure on that one - do a search of the forum and see what other threads you can find on hairdressing. Or to go another route i.e. study permit etc.

Yes i have a brother in Lethbridge but ill be 45 this July i think im to old.Could we not get in on adaptability.

No, adaptability only gets you an extra 5 points under the Skilled Worker route - but you don't qualify as Skilled Workers from what you've said, so those points are no use to you.

For the Family Stream PNP it says you have to be 'between 21 and 45', but I'm assuming that's inclusive, so you may still be eligible before you turn 46 - when is that?

Just make sure you get it sorted asap as you may still have a chance. I noticed you asked about visas on the forum over a year ago and were told Alberta Family Stream PNP was your best option, but obviously haven't applied yet, so you can't delay any longer!

Get cracking, check with the PNP whether you can still apply aged 45, and hopefully you can then get an application in (assuming you/your brother meet the other eligibility criteria etc).
