There are signs all along the Lakeshore warning of bridge work on that route too. However, for the first time since I've had the dog, none of the lanes of Jarvis under the Gardiner bridge are closed. Parliament continues to be chaos with the backhoe are generator still smucked together occupying a lane since, I suppose, last summer, but Church St was open (in one direction) one afternoon last week.

I don't think it's contentious to suggest that driving is easier in the winter.
