Default Goods to Follow Values?

Hi - sorry if this has been asked before (I did do a search before posting, but couldn't find the answer!) - but just completing a Goods to Follow list before I fly tomorrow and just wondered what value I should use for the goods? Should it be purchase value, replacement value, or value if I were to dispose of the item now? I think replacement value would make most sense - but wanted to check, so if anyone could please advise I'd be grateful...!

Thanks!

Disposal, what you get if you tried to sell it today, you don't have to be that accurate. Customs doesn't have a "blue book" on the value of a used M&S sweater.

I believe it is replacement value should your ship sink :scared: or something gets damaged

Good luck for tomorrow

We did it as though we were selling the items second hand, and approximated the values. Had no probs with the officials at Pearson.

Thanks for all the responses - I've done replacement values (and don't have time to change it to 2nd hand values now!) - off to start packing now...! (Hopefully this time tomorrow I'll be winging my way to Canada!).
