Default Getting a resume checked

Can anyone recommend a good way of getting resumes checked and to receive feedback on them?

I have completed mine and 'Canada-ized' it using the wiki pages above as well moving2canada, Canadian jobs sites and example Canadian resumes found online. Also used Craiglist job adverts to get an idea on job requirements for my field, language and terminology.

I'm still not 100% convinced though

If you apply through a Canadian job agency, ask them to look over your resume. Mine reformatted my whole layout for me and I use that now all the time. It's in their interest to do it for you, and for free. No harm in asking.

Thank you, that's useful to know when I get there but I'm not in Canada at the moment.

I'm looking at trying to get some interest before I go out later this year

I have a few Resume handouts from two resume courses I attended (in Ottawa, one was general resume focused and other high tech) when I was looking for a job in 2011. If you PM me your email address I will send them to you. Always good to get as much information/examples as possible.
