Default geologist salaries BC

heya,
just a really quick question. no idea if there are many geologists on this forum but if there are, this is worth a shot.
looking for a really rough figure on what an engineering geologist/geomorphologist could earn in the vancouver region with a phd and about 3-4 years work experience?

i know this is a bit of 'how long is a piece of string' question but any guesses would be appreciated!

cheers!

Rough guess would be less than $90k.

Many work on contract.

You'll get nowhere unless you are up on 43-101.

Look on the APEGGA equivalent for a salary survey. BC is less than alberta.

We are always on lookout for peeps if they are good. I am an engineering geologist.

I have a couple of friends that are throw that label around and one works overseas in mining and the other works in river engineering. So, what kind of work do you do?

it's not me who's the geologist but my boyfriend. he is currently looking at riverbeds in spain for his phd (something with long-term landscape changes), but wont be finished for another few years. he worked on the west coast of oz before that, i believe mainly offshore ground testing for infrastructural demands. sorry my understanding of what he actually does is a bit limited (when he meets new people who dont have a clue about geology he just likes to say he works with rocks but i think its actually more soil-based).

i was just looking for a really rough figure, something like those you find on glassdoor, i just couldnt seem to find anything at all. the APEGBC idea was great, thank you. if anyone else in interested in this topic, here's the link:
