Hi everyone on the forum.
Iam new user and please could any of you good people spare some advice.
Me and my wife have been contemplating on moving to Vancouver,Canada, Iam and electrician, (NOC 7241), and my wife works for NHS.
We have family in Vancouver; so i have family support which is a bonus.
However, which is our best route?
TWP - Then apply for PR whilst iam working there,
SWR - Skilled Worker Route - as my occupation is on NOC list 7241, and have more than 10yrs experiance
AEO - I have been speaking to some contacts which are in the electrical/construction trade so it is possible that i could arrange my own employment.
Thank You in advance for any advice that you will be able to give me.

Skilled worker would seem the best route. You can be here in less than a year.

If you can find an employer here who is willing to do an LMO for you then that will get you a TWP in a few months.
In the meantime, get a skilled worker application in and running. You can do this before or after the TWP - it doesn't matter. As you're on the list of 38 don't worry about AEO as it adds time and requires an employer.

Do both.

No doubt you have it covered, but don't forget you will have to get your journeyman ticket in BC, which is also a red seal qualification. It will involve some exams and may be a prerequisite of a job offer.
