going to operate from June with Air Canada to Heathrow, and I think from June as well to Gatwick with Go Travel Direct/Monarch. I think both end in September. Air Canada making noises about having a year round service, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

PinkMcF has it correct. Air Canada 5 days a week June-Sept (IIRC) and Gotraveldirect using Monarch every Thursday during the summer. Pricing out tickets for the summer as we plan to visit UK I am getting $1500 on Air Canada and about $800 on gotravel. Cheap it ain't.

Bear in mind that Monarch has a seat pitch of 28-29", unless you go premium economy. That is a wee bit tight, even for someone my height (nudging five ten).

That's useful info. We're hoping to get the tickets on Avion points which will likely cover AC. Since we'll be travelling with a 17 month old on our laps, the more space the better!

AC is 32". The extra 3 or 4 inches makes a hell of a difference.
