Default Flying to Calgary 26th June....

My husband has been able to sort some rotas in our favour for a change so instead of 12th July, I now have flights booked for Friday 26th June. Now 54 sleeps till I get to see my gorgeous husband again. Just to hold his hand........... whatever. I miss him so much.
I cannot wait.!
We are flying from Manchester. Is anyone else going then?
Just got to try and get the cats on the same flight now, if not then a pet carrier company I'm afraid.

You might get the cats on the same flight but I suspect you will still have to use a company to do it for you. Our cats also came on a Thomas Cook flight, but we couldn't bring them as excess baggage. We used Air Supply Shipping Agents if that is any use. http://www.passportforpets.co.uk/ That was from Manchester to Calgary.

My parents are on the same flight as you, coming over to visit us!

Good luck!

I was on a Westjet flight earlier this year and the woman next to me had her cat in a cage underneath the seat. I'm not sure if Air Canada are the same.

Thanks for all your replies.
Unfortunately as you've said, the cats cant come with us on our flight so I will try the company suggested.
I think pets can only go under seats on domestic flights.

Hi Lisa
Thank you so much for this info. I have just had a quote from them of £656 for 2 large cats. This is the cheapest price we have had by over £150.
The cats are booked onto the same flight as us too. The airline wouldnt let us book direct.
Once again , thanks
Tina

Glad you got it sorted and they are on the same flight as you.

I'm sure the amount they have quoted you is very similar to what we paid for two cats almost two years ago, so it's good that the price has not gone up.

Enjoy your flight and good luck when you get here!

Albertabound

Glad to hear that you and your family will soon be reunited - know how you feel as we had to do a similar thing to get here.

Keep counting those sleeps!

The Ross Family
