Booked our flights today to Detroit Metro. It will be a short drive across the border into Windsor then down into Amherstburg or maybe even LaSalle

Still not 100% sure exactly where I will be staying but this journey has been a long time coming

Flying on the 9/4 for 9 days to sort out my accommodation and to see what else I can get done in that time then going back for the family - I will be leaving for good on the 23/4

Very nice - I saw a nice rental property on Normandy too. My house sale held me back last yr in the end I've gone down the rental route... good luck with yours though

Where are you staying whilst you sniff out somewhere to rent?

I'm staying with my cousin in Windsor - so shouldn't take too long to get to LaSalle and Amherstburg to look around.
