Flights are booked no turning back...
 

Booked our flights today to Detroit Metro. It will be a short drive across the border into Windsor then down into Amherstburg or maybe even LaSalle:confused:

Still not 100% sure exactly where I will be staying but this journey has been a long time coming:thumbsup:

Flying on the 9/4 for 9 days to sort out my accommodation and to see what else I can get done in that time then going back for the family - I will be leaving for good on the 23/4:)

Very nice - I saw a nice rental property on Normandy too. My house sale held me back last yr in the end I've gone down the rental route... good luck with yours though:fingerscrossed:

I'm staying with my cousin in Windsor - so shouldn't take too long to get to LaSalle and Amherstburg to look around.

5 weeks and counting...:D
