I can only imagine the difficult time you are all going through, and am so pleased you have a great home and plenty of support.
I lived in Canada for 10 great years when I was a kid, and still today I miss the community spirit. My friend had an accident when she was 18, and became a paraplegic. With weeks of her accident everyone started a collection for her and her parents. Even now 16 years later they still do an annual tournament in aide of her. Hoever it goes to somebody different, who needs the help.
Also if anyone has a house fire or something terrible everyone gets involved to offer shelter, clothes and food.
I love Canadians and their spirit, and only wished it was like that in the UK.
Good luck to you, and wish you all the happiness in the world.
