At long last and through many ups and downs, I can finally utter the immortal words of "I've got it!!!!!!!!!".
Eclient finally changed to Decision Made on the CIC website on Wednesday and me being me and being very negative about it half expected it to change back to In Process at any minute! Had a phone call Wednesday afternoon from immigration requesting me to return a call as it was a matter of urgency. Called them and all they wanted to know was the kids heights and eye colour! Had another call from Halifax office today telling me I will be called next week to come in and pick up my landed immigrant status, put in application for PR cards and then I can make my pre planned trip to the Uk on the 23rd of the month. Once in the Uk I have to go to the Canadian Embassy in London to pick up a temporary PR card so we can return to Canada without any problems at Christmas. A bit of a hoo-haa to get back but it will be worth it in the end.
From start to finish our applications have been very fast. They went in Feb 9 2004, AIPS July 14, MP involved October, finally okayed for a PR November 10.

I've done an inland spousal application. I landed here last January and have a visitors record valid until next January. We got married the end of Jan and applied Feb 9. It just means now I can leave the country and not have worries getting back in (kids here, their father in the uk...my ex) and I CAN WORK!!!!!! I never thought I would say I am so glad to be able to pay taxes!! Anyone want a haircut in the Halifax area, PM me!!!!!lol

Hi Jo,
that's great news Jo, so how long you coming back to UK for?
You can put us down for haircuts when we finally arrive next year, bit nervous about going to canadian hairdressers, stella had a bad time with one in halifax recently made a big mess of her hair, she did go back and tell them to fix it, but will never return. So make sure we are on your books!!:scared:
